Terms of Use
Last updated: October 9th, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using NPPE Ready (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is
NPPE Ready is an independent study resource offering original practice questions and flashcards related to the National Professional Practice Examination (NPPE). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Engineers Canada, the NPPE program, or any provincial or territorial engineering or geoscience regulator. Every question is original and written from the publicly available NPPE blueprint; no real exam questions are used, requested, or referenced.
3. No professional advice; accuracy of content
The content on the Service (including practice questions, explanations, flashcards, and study guide material) is provided for exam-preparation purposes only and does not constitute professional, legal, engineering, or regulatory advice. It should not be relied on as a substitute for consulting your provincial or territorial regulator, a lawyer, or another qualified professional about your specific situation.
We make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate and up to date, including through our "challenge this answer" feature, but we do not guarantee that any content on the Service is current, complete, or error-free, and NPPE Ready is not liable under any circumstances for any outcome arising from reliance on it.
4. No guarantee of exam results
Use of the Service does not guarantee that you will pass the NPPE or any other exam. Practice results shown on the Service (including any "PASSED" or "FAILED" benchmark) reflect a raw percentage against a benchmark we set for study purposes. They are not the same as, and should not be relied on as a prediction of, the real exam's official equated score. See our guarantee terms, described in section 6 of our Terms of Use.
5. Accounts
You sign in using a one-time code sent to your email; there is no password. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address secure, and for all activity under your account. Accounts are for individual use; do not share your login or paid content with anyone else.
6. Payment and refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. Pricing and what is included with a purchase are described on our homepage at the time of purchase. There will be no refunds for any reason. However, if you have a 'Premium' plan and complete every practice question and flashcard and do not pass your first NPPE attempt, we will give you another paid package free of charge. A free paid package will only be provided once per user, granted they meet the criteria. Criteria for a free paid package include: proof of failing the NPPE, completion of all practice questions and flashcards, a previous purchase of the 'Premium' plan, and a request for the free package within 30 days of receiving your exam results.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the Service (including questions, explanations, flashcards, and site text) is owned by NPPE Ready or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may use it for your own personal exam preparation. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or publish it elsewhere, including sharing paid content with people who have not purchased access.
8. Prohibited conduct, scraping, and data mining
You agree not to: share your account or paid content with others; attempt to bypass access controls or payment; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
You also agree not to use any robot, spider, scraper, crawler, or other automated means to access, scrape, copy, mine, or systematically extract content, questions, or data from the Service, in whole or in part, for any purpose, without our prior written permission. This includes using Service content to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any artificial intelligence or machine learning model. We may monitor for this kind of automated access and take technical or legal action in response, including rate-limiting, blocking, or terminating access for any account or address associated with it.
9. Third-party links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or resources. These links are provided for convenience only and are not an endorsement by NPPE Ready. We have no control over, and cannot guarantee the accuracy of, the content or practices of any third-party site, and accessing a linked site is at your own risk.
10. Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect information submitted through the Service, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. NPPE Ready cannot guarantee the complete confidentiality or security of any information you provide, and is not responsible for damages arising from unauthorized access to, or disclosure, alteration, or loss of, that information.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We work to verify content against primary sources, but errors can occur — see our Contact us page to report one.
12. Limitation of liability
By visiting or using the Service, you agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, NPPE Ready and its agents, officers, employees, and contractors will not be held responsible or liable for any and all actions, costs, fees, or damages (whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential) arising out of or relating to a breach of these Terms of Use or your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Use is found by a court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed from the remainder. It will not affect the validity or enforceability of the rest of these terms, which will continue in full force and effect.
15. Governing law
These Terms of Use are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the federal laws of Canada applicable in New Brunswick, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
You agree that the courts of New Brunswick will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the Service.
